Looking for a job and want to improve your chances of getting hired? Join this session led by TLU Professor Dr. Zach Plunk to explore the hidden factors that influence hiring decisions beyond resumes and qualifications. Drawing on consumer behavior and behavioral science, Dr. Plunk will highlight the psychological forces that shape employer perceptions and decisions. Participants will gain practical insights into how to present their strengths, communicate their value more clearly, and navigate the hiring process with greater confidence.

Ages 16+. Registration required. 

Ready, Set, Hired! is a free job-seeker education series designed to equip participants with practical tools and strategies for navigating today’s job market. The series is a partnership between the Seguin Economic Development Committee, the Seguin Public Library, and Workforce Solutions Alamo, and is held on the third Wednesday of every month.
