The Seguin Public Library, in collaboration with GRMC Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, presents Tai Chi. The class is a modified version of Yang Style Tai Chi, designed to help improve balance and stability. No equipment is necessary and participants may do this seated if they feel more comfortable.

All skill levels are welcome.

Tai Chi can:

  • Improve your balance and mobility with slow, controlled movement
  • Improve physical and emotional well-being
  • Increase energy and endurance
  • Help reduce stress and blood pressure

As part of the Seguin Public Library’s mission to support the reading needs of the entire community, the club offers an inviting space for readers to come together, enjoy stimulating conversation, and share in the joy of discussing books and the reading experience. Participation is free, and anyone 18 or older is welcome to join. Book selections are chosen based on participants’ recommendations, ensuring a variety of engaging reads.

The Book Nuts Book Club meets on the last Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
