The Seguin Public Library, in collaboration with GRMC Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, presents Tai Chi. The class is a modified version of Yang Style Tai Chi, designed to help improve balance and stability. No equipment is necessary and participants may do this seated if they feel more comfortable.

All skill levels are welcome.

Tai Chi can:

• Improve your balance and mobility with slow, controlled movement
• Improve physical and emotional well-being
• Increase energy and endurance
• Help reduce stress and blood pressure

Cozy up with your fiber projects and connect with fellow knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, and fiber artists! Enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere with good conversation, creativity, and community. Bring your own supplies; some donated materials may be available. This is a social gathering with no instruction.

Open to ages 16+. All skill levels are welcome. 

Refresh and unwind with a calming sound bowl experience designed to melt away stress. The soothing vibrations promote deep relaxation, balance, and mental clarity. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape or a mindful moment, this session offers the perfect opportunity to recharge and restore.

We encourage participants to bring a yoga mat or blanket for comfort as you lie down and fully immerse yourself in the calming sounds.

Join our all-ages Chess Club for a fun and friendly way to sharpen your skills! All skill levels are welcome. Learn new strategies and improve your game with guidance from Chess Coach Blake. 

Basic chess knowledge is preferred. Chess sets and timers are provided. 

Free and open to the public.

Join us for Toddler Storytime! Recommended for ages 1-3 and their caregivers, this fun and interactive program features stories, songs, rhymes, and movement to support early literacy and social development. 

Get ready to wiggle, giggle, and listen! Preschool storytime is full of fun stories, silly songs and lots of laughter.

Recommended for ages 3-5 and their caregivers.

Every Tuesday for ages 12-17. Drop in any time between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. 

Teens will have their choice of activities, including games and crafts.

Geared toward newborns to 18 months and their caregivers, Baby storytime features stories, songs, rhymes and movement to support early literacy and social development. 

Family storytime incorporates books, rhymes, songs, and movement to practice literacy skills and get kids ready to learn!

Recommended for children ages 05 and their families.

Join us for an afternoon of casual chess! Ages 6-11.

Bring your own chess set or use one of ours. Learn new techniques, play practice matches, or challenge your friends. Beginners welcome!

Join us for a morning of open-ended play for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. The library will provide activity centers and toys for young children to explore, play and learn.
