Event Details
The Seguin Public Library, in collaboration with Seguin Storytellers, presents a monthly one-hour program celebrating Seguin’s heritage and community spirit. Join us every last Sunday of the month for insightful stories shared by longtime residents who have helped shape our city’s history and culture.
Presenter: Edie Cassell
A feeling of belonging has eluded Edie Cassell from her earliest memories. As a young woman, Edie traveled the world, discovering alternate ways of life while seeking community. Missing information about family history fueled her alienation, but a mysterious letter arriving after her father’s death offered some answers. From dancing tango to establishing an urban community garden to chaperoning Aggies studying abroad, Edie’s search for ‘home’ led to her flower farm in Seguin.
